Year of the Dragon
An upbeat assessment of the PH economy in 2012. During the year of the water dragon, this archipelago will indeed prove be a bright spot in what is likely to be a sluggish and crisis-ridden world economy. We can disagree though with Dr Villegas about his advocacy, only hinted, that the country's huge population accounts for such bright economic expectations, and that ergo the proposed Reproductive Health law, which seeks to limit the runaway PH population growth, should be junked.
